Newbie Guide To Internet Money

So you have no money to invest but want to get in the game of making money on the internet? Don’t fret, there are still ways to get your feet wet and start getting some income so that you may invest in future endeavors. Have information overload and don’t know where to start? This is the problem I had and to some extent still have. The best thing to do is jump right in. Here is how I got off and running and stopped reading myself to death.

Go get yourself an Adsense account if you haven’t already got one. Can’t make any money from Adsense if you don’t have this. It is free to sign up, no cost. Make sure when you sign up, you read the terms of service thoroughly and understand them. I cannot stress this enough. Many people have failed to do this and have had their accounts canceled. Once this happens, guess what? No more earnings from Google Adsense.

Sign up at Blogger for a free blog. Yes, once again free, no cost to you. Although using Blogger is not necessarily the best option for a blog, it does let you put Adsense ads on your blog with limited configuration. It will be better once you have a little cash to invest, to purchase a web hosting plan and host a Wordpress blog. You will be able to manipulate it quite a bit more and make it more SEO friendly.

Sign up for accounts at some social bookmarking sites. StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, Etc….there are tons of them out there. The more, the better. These are all free and important. They are important because they will get you instantaneous traffic, and if your blog is interesting enough may get you a lot of traffic. They will also help you to get indexed in the search engines faster.

Blog about anything you feel like, just make it informative and interesting. It can be a hobby of yours or something you are interested in. Anything at all, just get started. You should be making blog entries everyday. This takes about 5 minutes time. I had two hobby blogs that I never even socially bookmarked, they started getting Adsense revenue as soon as I placed Adsense on the blog. It won’t be much, but hey, its income, and its free income. If you are really froggy, make a few blogs and do the same thing. Before you know it, you will start to earn some extra bucks for very little time and effort. The key is to keep your content fresh, that means posting and socially bookmarking daily.

Another way I got started earning a little spare cash was to write some simple “How-To” Articles. I stumbled upon this by accident. I was doing some research on some topics and these articles from a site called Ehow kept coming up. I investigated and opened an account, for free. I wrote a couple of simple how-to’s, these articles earn money through revenue sharing, Ehow has advertisements placed on the articles and they give you a portion of the ad revenue. The key is traffic. It is not real difficult to get traffic either. Write an article and social bookmark it. I write about 2 articles a month for Ehow, I am up to like 14 articles total. I bring in anywhere from $20 to $30 a month from these articles. Imagine if I had 140 articles. Get the drift? It only takes a couple of minutes to write a good quality article.

Total investment $0, Time investment? Maybe 10 minutes a day. Remember from my introduction posts that I said I put very little effort into it, well here ya go.

Use these methods while you are processing all the information that is coming at you about earning money online. Then you can practice some of the methods on your already established blog(s). Plus you will be earning some residual income to help you move on to bigger things.
